Jiankun He： New Situation for Governing Global Climate and China's Countermeasures
He Jiankun stated that
In achieving carbon neutrality by 2060, the emission pathway needs to reach near-zero emissions by 2050, and a sustainable energy system primarily based on new and renewable energy should be established. This goal is believed to require China to make arduous efforts and undergo a significant transformation in the socioeconomic, energy, technological, and more. However, this transition is also expected to bring multiple synergistic benefits to China, such as improved economic competitiveness, social development, and environmental protection.
Jiang Kejun: Under the 2060 carbon neutrality target, enterprises need to take the initiative to transform and avoid elimination
China's 2060 carbon neutrality goal is only a direction and a banner. It needs to significantly transform the energy structure, basic research and development of low-carbon technologies, and commercial applications of innovative technologies in the next few decades and enterprises will occupy the core of these changes.
