Annual meeting and theme forum
The first two sessions of the model training workshop were organized by the Industrial Development and Environmental Governance Research Center at Tsinghua University and the China Energy Model Forum, with the co-sponsorship of the China Agricultural Policy Research Center at Peking University and the Institute of Science and Technology Strategy Consulting at the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

On October 27, 2023, to further accelerate green transformation and promote high-quality development in the Yellow River basin under the dual carbon background, the Beautiful Yellow River Energy Golden Triangle High-Quality Development Forum was held in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The conference was co-hosted by Tsinghua University's Center for Industrial Development and Environmental Governance (CIDEG), the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Dual Carbon Industry Cooperation Branch of the China Energy Research Society, the China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research, the Inner Mongolia Institute of Energy and Carbon Neutrality Strategy Research, and China Energy Net, with the support of the China Energy Model Forum (CEMF).

On October 16, in order to promote the exchange of experiences among global energy professionals on the cutting-edge trends in power model technology and to collectively drive the transformation of power systems, the CEMF International Technical Exchange Conference on Power Models was held in Beijing. The conference was co-hosted by the China Energy Modeling Forum (CEMF) and Tsinghua University's Center for Industrial Development and Environmental Governance (CIDEG).

The theme is "Earth4All", reminding us once again to cherish and protect our common earth home. In recent years, climate risks have been increasing. Addressing climate change is the top priority of our current work. Low-carbon transformation is a necessary move to slow down climate change and protect the earth. Earth Day is not just today. For our common home, for future generations, and for a better and sustainable world, we need to realize the importance of low-carbon transformation, take active actions, care for the "Earth of all living beings", and promote our society Towards a more environmentally friendly, low-carbon future.
