Han Wenke
Han Wenke, former director and researcher of the Energy Research Institute of the National Development and Reform Commission and an academic member of the China Energy Modeling Forum, gave answers and suggestions on how the "leading" countries should deal with climate change. He pointed out that the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" includes the main content of promoting green development, low-carbon development, ecological environment protection, preventing desertification, vigorously developing clean energy, etc., which will greatly promote the implementation of the Paris Agreement and promote the active development of "Belt and Road" countries to fight climate change. At the same time, it is emphasized that when responding to climate change, countries should update and improve their response strategies in a timely manner, determine different response strategies and priorities according to national characteristics, and strengthen the construction of carbon markets.
