Dr. Lim Jae-hyun, a researcher at the Korea National Institute of Environmental Research, introduced the research results of Korea's climate change policy, emission reduction policy, and air pollution control. He said South Korea implemented emission reduction measures by industry in terms of new energy, industry, green energy, policy, emission reduction system based on the market mechanism, international market mechanism, and greenhouse gas emission actions. South Korea has established a target management system (such as a public sector management system, industrial emissions trading system, etc.), and at the same time, established the CAPSS system to help local governments formulate inventory guidance programs and provide guidance programs for addressing climate change.
