Wang Ke
Dr. Wang Ke, a researcher at the National Academy of Development and Strategy of the Renmin University of China, discussed various countries' climate change response goals with experts in the context of the global 2°C and 1.5°C goals. He said that from a global perspective, the goals of 2°C and 1.5°C, although the results of the new scenario have loosened our constraints, among the various distribution plans, considering historical responsibility or per capita capacity is the most beneficial plan for China. China's air pollution control and low-carbon measures have a high degree of synergy, but more detailed research on synergy is needed, and more detailed comparisons between emission reductions and cost-effectiveness are needed.
