"CEMF Special Exhibition Awaits Your Showcase | Beautiful Yellow River Looks Forward to a Green Future: Knowledge, Art, Interaction"
Source:清华大学CIDEG Nov 03, 2023

The Yellow River Basin is not only a crucial ecological barrier and economic zone in China but also holds a key strategic position in achieving China's goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, as well as in the construction of a beautiful China. Therefore, the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin are closely related to the development of China's economy and society, as well as ecological security. The green and low-carbon development of the Yellow River Basin requires attention to systemic, coordinated, and holistic approaches, exploring comprehensive solutions to ultimately achieve a win-win situation in terms of environmental benefits, climate benefits, and economic benefits.

To further enhance public awareness of the importance of ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin, emphasizing the close interconnection between water, energy, food, and the ecosystem in the basin, and encouraging more active participation in environmental discussions, the China Energy Modeling Forum (CEMF) and the Beijing office of the American Environmental Association jointly organized the "Beautiful Yellow River: Awaiting a Green Future" environmental propaganda exhibition on October 30th at Yintai Port.

The exhibition includes graphic displays, photography and video creations, as well as interactive experiences such as role-playing games, presenting various forms of art. It aims to provide the public with a multi-perspective knowledge dissemination and space for thoughtful discussions. The exhibition is co-organized by the Beijing Ocean Sail Public Welfare Foundation, with support from Yintai Port and Tsinghua University's Research Center for Industrial Development and Environmental Governance (CIDEG).
